Video I made of an amazing song... probably my favorite by my favorite band ever, Sum 41.

Sober Is Sexy... Always! :)

Sober Is Sexy, es una línea de ropa que tras su primer año de existencia (10/10/2010) ha conseguido un gran apoyo del público y de Hollywood  especialmente.

Creada por Hanna Beth, una modelo y diseñadora neoyorkina, que con apenas 25 años ha sufrido la adicción a las drogas y al alcohol, al igual que su madre, Hayley. Ambas ya rehabilitadas, decidieron junto con Boris Galbshtein, crear una línea de ropa cuyo mensaje fuera claro: “No a las drogas”, y que además se completa con “La sobriedad es el nuevo atractivo”.

Después de su primer año en el mercado, la línea ha ampliado el mensaje ya no sólo a camisetas y tops, sino también a sudaderas, pendientes, colgantes, tazas, bolsos, pulseras  e incluso pegatinas para personalizar los móviles.

Los eslóganes son muy pegadizos, algunos de ellos son: “The only coke I do is diet”, “Heroin killed the radio star”, o “The rehab in the Valley”. Hay alguno un tanto explícito referido a Pete Doherty (bien conocido por su abusivo consumo de drogas),  en el que aparece una foto con su cara bajo la palabra “Heroína” y en la espalda, aparece el mensaje: “God save the Pete” ; también como logo de más camisetas aparece el propio nombre de la marca como eslogan  “Sober Is Sexy”, o algunos tan simples como “Don’t die!”.

Además recientemente, a raíz del fallecimiento de Amy Winehouse, se ha creado una camiseta de edición limitada con la cara de la cantante londinense en fondo rojo, con su año de nacimiento y muerte (1983 - 2011).

En 2012 la marca ha iniciado la segunda temporada, que se comercializa desde mediados de Enero.

I wanted to share this amazing and powerful lyrics with such an incredible vocal interpretation. At first, Demi's voice is vulnerable, trembled and almost broken, but at the song goes on, she finds the strenght and rises above, like a skyscraper.
This song is in Demi Lovato's new album, Unbroken, which hits stores in Spain, February 21st of 2012.
